It was fun seeing that film in a drive-in, back in the 60s. I remember the blue plastic "cobalt blast glasses" they handed out at the ticket booth, to "protect your eyes from the blasts" during the movie. I think there was a buzzer or bell or something that went off as a warning right before each blast...lol.
EDIT: I should add that, when the DVD of "Frank meets the Space Monster" came out a few years back, naturally I bought a copy. At full price, yet. To this day I can't get through the movie on DVD fer nothin'! I'd much rather watch Beast of Yucca Flats or In the Year 2889 for the umpteenth time. 8)
